Media Title: Monica - The Boy Is Mine Type of Media: Music CD Reviewed: 8.10.99 Review: I consider myself pretty open minded when it comes to music. I enjoy popular music, some rap, latin, and rock. Above all though I love R&B. I find it very relaxing and soothing. When I got Monica's new CD, The Boy is Mine, I instantly loved it. Its just the kind of CD that I enjoy sitting down and listening to. Most of the songs on the cd are slow ballads that relates mostly to relationships. The best thing about Monica's CD is that there is no cursing or degrating lyrics. There are enough CD's out there with a negative message and it is nice to see a CD that sends out with a good vibe. Monica has a wonderful voice and produced some great songs. With a deep voice and a great look to boot, Monica's, The Boy Is Mine was worth the *cough* $14 dollars that I put up for it. It is a must buy for any R&B fan.
