HOW TO LOOSEN CLIPS

First of all, it’s not necessary at all with screw backs, and probably not on screw-clip combo either. To loosen clips, all you need is a flat-nosed pliers, with a fairly thin tip. On either of the curves on the wire part that goes below the ear (either the curve nearer to the hanging loop, or the curve near the clip mechanism) — insert the pliers, near the plier tips. Slightly flatten out the curve by pushing the pliers gently together. If you over-flatten, you can bend curve back, but if you do this too many times, the wire will break.
