Riley Finn first appeared on Buffy the Vampire Slayer in "The Freshman," the first episode of the fourth season. In the beginning he appeared to be a fairly ordinary (if unusually good-looking) psychology TA, with only a slight friendly interest in Buffy. But all that changed with the episode "The Initiative." Riley turned out to be a demon-fighting military commando -- and a love interest for Buffy.

Riley's (and the Initiative's) arrival on the scene opened up a whole lot of new avenues for fanfic, both in terms of character and in terms of plot. This site is intended as a resource for writers who wish to explore these avenues. Here you will find essays, writing tips, a list of beta readers, useful links, and anything else I come across that seems helpful. Of course a good resource site is a collaborative effort, so if you have anything you'd like to contribute to this zone, please e-mail me (Mariner).

See what's new around here.

Writing Stuff about... duh... writing! And a fanfic archive for your reading pleasure.

Links Useful research sites, Riley sites, general BtVS sites, fanfic archives, etc.

Cliques, affiliates, webrings, oh my!
