LOLTUN, YUC.
Las grutas de Loltun (flor de piedra) fueron habitadas, al igual que otras muchas, por los mayas, y se pueden encontrar varios vestigios de esta ocupación.

The Loltun caves (Flower in Stone) was inhabitated, as many others, by the mayan people, and it can find several remanents of this occupation.

Los cenotes son salidas de ríos subterráneos y pueden estar de manera abierta (como un ojo de agua) o de manera cerrada, dentro de cavernas y grutas. El espeleobuceo es un deporte que crece cada vez más en estas formaciones naturales, igualmente el 'rapel'. Yucatán tiene un gran número de cenotes, hasta la fecha se han contabilizado más de 680. Esta es una pequeñísima muestra.

The 'cenotes' are the windows of underground rivers and they can be the open type (like a poddle) or the close type, inside caves. The cave diving is a growing sport in this natural enviroments, same as rappel. Yucatán has got a great number of cenotes; until now they are counted more than 680. This is a small sample.
