Crave 'The Wave'I'm beginning to "Crave the Wave"! Are you ready to give Jesus a world wide "Wave" offering? As we prepare to posses the land, also prepare your hearts to Praise Him, to exalt Him, and to lift-up the name of Jesus on high! Yes, I'm starting to "Crave the Wave"! I'm ready for the "Wave of Praise"! I'm excited for that first city who starts June 7th, 2003. As they start to raise their hands to the Lord to Praise Him, the "Wave of Praise" starts to flow! May it be a "Mighty Wave"! May it change the "spiritual air waves" to enhance God's glory, to open ears, open eyes, and soften hearts. May it "Turn the Tide", may it start an awesome "ripple effect" and may it dowse Satan's fiery darts and flood the world with HIS presence!!
Get out those fishing poles, get those nets ready, role up your sleeves, it may not look like it, but there is a big catch coming! Just like Peter and the rest when they went back to fishing, nothing seemed to be happening until Jesus got in the picture! The catch is big, it's ready for harvest, and the fruit is HUGE!!!
Keep looking up and listening for the shout and the blowing of the trumpet (Shophar)!!! GLORY!!!!!!

Number of participants: 420
Number of outreaches: 70 ... The very end of the March at the prayer and worship time(rally), 70 large loaves of professionally made bread with a large sticker saying "Jesus is the Bread of Life" with the scripture of John 6:32-35 on it were blessed by 10 pastors and commissioned to share the Bread of Life to someone who does not know Jesus.
We gave out free water, balloons, 700 beautiful hand made royal purple flags with hand written "Jesus" on it to pass out along the March route. Also 35 signs glorifying God on sticks for Marchers to take in the March. The proclamation was read, prayer, and the blowing of the 5 Shophars just before the start of the March for Jesus.
Story unique to the event: The blessing and commissioning of the 70 loaves of bread. All the flags given out along the march route. Also one person brought 200 bibles to pass out. By the time he got to the end of the march, all 200 were passed out. Also at the prayer rally the Gideions were giving out bibles.
Ideas for outreach on Jesus Day

- Ministry that you are already doing in the valley, do on Jesus Day.
- Care for the poor: give clothes, food, furniture, love, any of your extras around your house and donate it on Jesus Day.
- Reaching out to children
- Food for the hungry: Meet a need--Feed...
- Visit a nursing home or assisted living center. Some allow little dogs along. Put a little sign on its collar saying, "Jesus Love Me, and He Loves You Too!"
- Visit your neighbor, visit and help your neighbor(young or old), bless them with your God given time (praying for them while you are there).
- Visit someone in jail: bless them in Jesus name.
- Be on the lookout for someone in need - this is your God given opportunity to help them.
- Prayerwalk: if you never have, Jesus Day would be a great day to prayerwalk your neighborhood and pray for your neighbors and bless them watching for areas of need and prayer!
- Chrisitan musicians doing mini concerts at different parks in the city
- Is there something the Lord has put on your heart to do that is for His glory? Jesus Day is a great day to do it!
- Find out where there is a need and help out in Jesus name.
- Ideas that the Lord has put on your heart.
Can you imagine if the entire Body of Christ in Yakima would reach out, however lead, to this city in Jesus name on Jesus Day?! Then coming together with singing and praising Him in the streets with a March For Jesus! Pure incense to the throne of God!!!
He desires it not just one day or two days a year, on Saturday or Sunday, but He desires it everyday as a lifestyle!
