I first saw Mike Errico at the W.E. Fest in
Wilmington, North Carolina. He was the first one on the stage and the
only performer that I remember that night. I really wasn't drinking all
that much either. Mike stole the show. His "one man band" show is like artwork. He bangs on his guitar, romances the harmonica, and does a little magic on his little xylophone (or whatever it is that he uses). And sings. Boy does he sing. I can't really describe the kind of music he sings. That's never been my strong suit. It's just really good music. It's got lots of heart and emotion, and he plays it like he means it. And I'm addicted. Second time I saw him was in Cambridge, MA. Hell, I don't remember the name of the Bar (and I wasn't drinking at all that night). It was in January. It was great. |
