"Awesome web site. I love the I.S.U. pictures, because the trumpets
are the first picture in line. Brass rules, woodwinds stink. Kick
brass!!!!!!!!!!" Dec., 1999
"...Just last night I was telling my
7-year-old daughter about my days (long ago) in Morton's bands, the most vivid memory
being marching in a 5-mile parade in Peoria continuously clashing some oversize
cymbals. Then, reading the Tazewell News this morning brought me your wonderful
website. You obviously have a band much beyond what Morton knew in the
past--and a great set of parents who support its endeavors. My musical talent has
long since vanished, but John Philip Sousa was born right next door to the church we
attend on Capitol Hill in Washington, D.C. My guess is that you still present a
Sousa award, so
here's an award for your work and many good wishes for the future." Signed:

"Thank you so much
for all of your continued work with the website. It is fantastic! I
really enjoyed browsing. Maybe you should do the
website for the entire district :) Thanks again. It looks terrific."

"Mr. Watson: I LOVE the band website!! It is so utterly cool, and I
especially love the pictures of the kids!! I've emailed several pictures of my kids to
friends all over. It's hard for me to make Monday and Tuesday night meetings, because I
have small children. With the website, I can keep up on new things. I do chaperone the
trips, however, and look forward to meeting you. Thank you so much for all of
your hard work. Keep it up!! Sept., 1999
From Germany: "Hi, it's a great site you have! Why
don't you own a guestbook - I'd like to sign in. Anyway: when do you visit the site of the
Blue Diamonds Drum & Bugle Corps in Germany?" CU Klaus J. Kuehne

"Nice job with the website. I have been out of the loop
for a few years since Dave graduated in '97, but this website really keeps me informed and
it is great to see the photo work. Congrats on a great season too. Will look forward to
news of the Washington trip. Bummer about no Winter Percussion Unit this year. That
line has certainly generated a lot of interest in the "off season."
Have a great Winter..." Oct., 1999
"The judges for the InterNet Marching Band Award, have visited your
site and
found it to be worthy of our Bronze InterNet Marching Band Award for Web
Excellence.. We had an enjoyable time visiting your site. It displays good
content, technical design, readability, and good graphical design, all of which are needed
to qualify for our award. We enjoyed visiting your site and going through all of
your photos. Keep up the good work. We hope you will display our award with pride." Nov., 1999
