TRANSFER SLED PULLING


DEAD BOAT / PERCENTAGE PULLING RULES
 
Pulling will be on a percentage of weight pulled to the weight of the tractor and operator. The tractor must pull sled a distance of fifteen 15 feet to qualify as a pull.  Tractors shall be disqualilfied if outside of rear wheels goes over the sidelines. Spotting or relocating the sled shall be the decision of the three track judges.
 
GENERAL RULES
1.   Contestants enter at own risk.
2.   Tractors must be of brand name, and have a serial number in proper location as stated by manufacturer if newer than 1940 or be  approved by the tractor pull committee before entering the pulling contest.
3.   No alterations that may change the appearance from original specifications.
4.   Only one driver per tractor per class will be allowed.   If contestant wishes to enter more than one tractor in a class and if their
tractors pull in the same rotation, then driver(s) must be supplied by the puller to keep their succeeding tractor(s) in rotation.
5.   Any contestant that enters more than one tractor per class will only be awarded their highest placing.
6.   Tractors shall pull as weighed. No adding of fuel or weights after weigh-in.  If tractor runs out of fuel at any time during the pull it  is competing in it will be disqualified.
7.   No late entries will be accepted without prior approval.  Contestants wishing to pull must be weighed in according to specified time by the day which their tractors class will be pulling.
8.   Driver MUST remain seated during pull, no bouncing allowed.  Driver must signal tractor is out of gear when hitching and unhitching from pulling device.  Once clutch is engaged at least one hand must be on steering at all times.  No slipping of clutch permitted once clutch is engaged.
9.   No non-members under the age of sixteen 16 years old shall be permitted to enter or operate a tractor.
10. Contestants under the age of seventeen 17 must have parent/guardians written consent, and they must be at track side at time of pull.
11. An entry fee of ten dollors $10.00 will be charged per tractor unless otherwise specified.
12. Any tractor participating in the iransfer Sled Open classes will not be allowed to participate in the Dead Boat pulls.
13. One Gallon of fuel may be added if tractor runs out of fuel while in rotation. Track chairman must be notified prior to addition.
14. No tractors will be weighed in after the specified cut-off time. Tractor and driver must be in line at cut-off time for weigh-in.
 
TIRES (BURDEN OF PROOF IS ON THE PULLER)
1.   No dual wheels will be allowed.
2.   No pan rims unless factory specified.
3.   Tire size will be limited to one size wider than original. Any exceptions must be proven, (shop manuals, sellers, guides, parts books, owners manuals, etc)
 
DRAWBAR
1.   Drawbar height for all rubber tired tractors shall not exceed 18 inches and hitching point must extend beyond radius of rear tractor tire.
2.   Contestants must furnish own safe clevis with a minumum 3 inch diameter hole.
 
POWDER PUFF JUNIOR PULL
1.   Members only are allowed to pull.
2.   No one over the age of fifteen 15 will be allowed to pull in the Junior Pull.
3.   No outside physical help from any person. Driver should be capable of operating tractor.
4.   Entry fee will be five dollars $5.00 per tractor.
5.   Junior parent/guardian signature is required and he/she must be at track side during time of pull.
