(Neat places and people, and a way to contact me.)
Charlie's Corner - For those who wonder what influences my writing, here's a peek into one curmudgeon's mindset in "Pitchlyn" County
Still more! This is a site maintained by the Heavener Schools. They've been an active presence on the web since before the county seat, to the north, even got internet access. The photographs of the scenery are courtesy of (and copyrighted by) one of the local bankers. The historical photographs on the museum page were gathered in the preparation of a memorial book the town of Heavener published a few years ago.
The Spiro Library - This is a tiny, store front library that really cares. The librarian loves books and loves her community. When I had to divest myself of many of my paperbacks, I donated them to this library. The books didn't go in a bin or onto a table to be sold for a quarter or less. Glenda (the librarian) scavenged shelves, created a special section and circulated my books. Writers, if you're looking for a home for some of your copies, please consider this library.
JimDan's World - Computer Guru # 1 (This is a new site, and I may have jumped the gun on directing anyone here. Is there content yet, or only the dreaded 404?
SITES FOR WRITERS (AND READERS)
Patchwork Prose, the on-line home of Elizabeth Wicker Bennefeld
Essays, reviews, recommended books (and links to lots and lots of quilts!)
Romantic Times Magazine: "The most complete romance resource on the web!" (Well, maybe not, but it is one of the best, and used with Jaclyn Reding's site and that of the University of Chicago on Romantic Fiction and the Law, it fills all those nooks and crannies nicely.)
For enjoyment, research and great procrastination:
Source of the Nephilim I love this site. I found it soon after I came on line and have checked back periodically. You can get lost here, and in the links from the keep, for days.
OOOPS.. The site appears to be lost. I've sent out a search party and will post back later. I hope it hasn't gone completely missing...
