Impetus

 (1) The driving force behind a movement or rotation.

(2) A basic International figure involving a Heel Turn for the man.
Variations: Closed Impetus, Open Impetus.

Inside Foot

 The foot which is closer to the partner when in Promanade, Outside Partner, or Side-by-Side Position. El pié que está más proximo a la pareja cuándo se está en posición Promenade, por Fuera de la pareja, ó Side-by-Side.

Inside Turn

 An underarm turn in which the lady turns to the left under the right hand, or to the right under the left hand. Giro bajo el brazo en el que la mujer gira hacia la izquierda el brazo derecho, ó hacia la derecha bajo el brazo izquierdo.

Instep

 The part of the foot which is on the inside edge, between the ball and the heel. Parte interior del pié, entre la bola y el talón.
