Welcome to the American Monarchist Form, a website for Americans who believe in monarchy. Our purpose is neither to form a political party nor (yet) a political movement, but rather to provide a forum for a wide range of different views concerning the world's oldest, and best, form of government.
Generations of Americans have been conditioned to believe that monarchies are cruel despotisms. In fact, the opposite is true. Constitutional monarchies have a better record of providing economic prosperity for their people, while respecting human rights, than any other form of government in the world today. The reason is simple: monarchies are the only form of government not headed by power-seeking politicians. A monarch represents the people as a whole and not a particular political faction—serving to unite the country, while providing much-needed stability and continuity. This means better, more human, government. Of the five countries in the world with the highest per-capita incomes, four are monarchies.
Our task is not to propagandise or indoctrinate people, but rather to develop a strategy for effective political action based on the truth. We need to come together and explore different options. Most of all, we need your input. There are, however, a few things we don't need:
We don't need racial, religious, or ethnic bigotry. Neo-nazis, fascists, and white supremacists can go somewhere else.
We don't need terrorism or violence. We are committed to bringing about peaceful change through education and democratic action.
We don't need name-calling, personal innuendoes, libel, or malicious statements. We need to work together, not against each other.
Subject to those few, common-sense restrictions, we invite you to participate fully and freely in the task of bringing the blessings of monarchy to the American people.
