Hard Rock Park files for bankruptcy Myrtle Beach: Hard Rock Park has announced that they are closing for the season and filing for Chapter 11 bankruptcy. They plan to restructure and will hopefully reopen in 2009. In June, the Moodies inaugurated the Nights In White Satin dark ride and played at the Grand Opening ceremonies.
New Justin newsletter Justin has a new letter on his website, where he talks about preparing for the Fall Tour and remastering three classic Moodies albums.

DVD release & new music In an interview from the
Lancashire Evening Post, John Lodge mentions that the Isle Of Wight DVD will be out shortly before Christmas, and that the Moodies are writing new songs and considering the possibility of going back into the studio.

The Moody Blues at the Isle of Wight, 1970 The first reviews are in on the Moodies' new Isle of Wight CD. A DVD of the band's entire performance is due out next year. The Moody Blues performed at the third Isle of Wight festival in 1970, along with such artists as Joni Mitchell and Jimi Hendrix. "Nights In White Satin" was featured in Message To Love, the official Isle of Wight documentary. Apart from this and an audio bootleg, this performance has never been released.
