Special Orders
There are literally thousands of books and tarot decks we sell or have sold at one time. As a small business, it is difficult to keep all of them in stock, obviously the space required would be beyond most small business owners budgets! But we are always happy to special order books and tarot, as well as other merchandise, and frequently it will take less than a week for an item to arrive. Due to the high percentage of customers who have placed special orders and never picked them up, we have had to implement some new policies.
For items that are regularly carried by us no deposit is required. (You will be told immediately if an item is regularly carried.) Customers are asked to please pick up special orders within one week of arrival notification. After one week, the item will be placed out for sale. If an item is no longer wanted, we would appreciate it if you could call and let us know, so the item can either not be ordered, or placed out for sale if it has arrived at the shop. If you can't come by within a week, please call and we'd be happy to hold the item for you until a later date.
Special items that are not in our regular backlist, will now require a 50% non-refundable deposit. If, for some reason the item is not available, you will receive a full deposit refund. The item will be held for 2 weeks, after which time the item will be returned, and all deposits will be forfeited. Iif the item is no longer wanted, and has not been ordered yet, please let us know and you will receive a full deposit refund. If the item has arrived and you no longer want it, you will forfeit your deposit.
