Mork from the planet Ork is sent by Orson to Earth to observe, and give back a report to Ork. On Earth he meets the earthling-girl Mindy, in Boulder Colorado, and she allows him to stay at her place.
After Mork had told her that he is an alien, he then tells her about his first trip to Earth and about the Fonz.
Mork gets to meet Mindy’s dad Fred McConnell, who is not happy about his daughter meeting a guy like Mork. An old friend of Fred's, named Officer Tilwick, visits Mork at Mindy’s apartment, where Mork is trying to hatch some eggs. Mork ends up at the courthouse, where a psychologist tries to convince the judge that Mork is out-of-his-mind.
