On Mork and Mindy's one month anniversary, Mork wakes up feeling sick. Mindy wants to celebrate their anniversary and invites him to join her at work. She is covering the dress rehearsal of Mork's favorite, "The All American Hammond Family". Mork especially loves Donna and Mario Hammond. He passes on the chance and waits for Exidor, his "doctor". During Exidor's visit, Mork discovers that he is pregnant, and an egg emerges from Mork's navel. Mork can't wait to tell Mindy when she gets home. He hints at wanting a family, and misinterprets Mindy's reaction. Later that night, he finds a way to tell her about the blessed event, much to Mindy's shock at being a parent. The egg grows quickly and hatches a full grown, middle aged man.
