The Dark Crystal
Another planet, another time. 1000 years ago the Dark Crystal
was damaged by one of the Urskeks and an age of chaos began. Now the time of the great conjunction of the three suns is near.
If the crystal is not healed now the control of the evil Skekses will last forever. Jen the last of the Gelfings nearly exterminated
by monsters controlled by the Skekses starts his dangerous journey to find the missing shard of the crystal. Will he be able
to heal the crystal and restore order on the planet? I don't know! You'll have to watch and find out!!
The hero of our tale is Jen, last of the Gelfings. He must heal the Dark Crystal
before the conjunction of the three suns or the evil Skekses will rule the planet forever. Along the way, Jen encounters
Kira, who also believe that she herself was the last of the Gelfings. Together, they set out on this dangerous quest.
One of my favorite characters is Fizzgig, Kira's pet. I'm not quiet sure what it is, but it is sooo adorable! Another
of my favorite characters is Aughra, the all knowing. She is the one that helps point Jen onto the path to find the
Dark Crystal. She is an over~weight, one~eyed, hilarious creature of somesort. She is extreamly old and always
complaining about this and that. Last but not least, one mustn't forget Chamberlain, the slithering, rejected, poor
excuse for a Skekses. He is always whining and sniveling. However, he is in his own right hilarious too.
This isn't all of the characters. There are many more I haven't mention. Oh... and remember people, this is a Jim Henson
movie. Ya know.....Puppets?
