About Me
My name is Angela Parker and I am a descendant of many of those that settled in Mosier Valley. I was born and raised in North East Texas. I have a deep love for history, people and culture. I have an even deeper love for my people and our history. While researching my ancestors in Tarrant county, I often become frustrated because of the lack of information about the people and history of Mosier Valley. It is a very special community, a very old community built on the sweat, blood and tears of our ancestors. They established the community with love and pride! I am very proud to be a descendant of these hard working, strong people. They survived the horrors and evils of slavery and built a place for themselves to call home. I am a product of many ancestors from Tarrant County and also a very special place called Mosier Valley.
