Issaqueena Lake Trails: Fast singletrack along Lake Hartwell, A few stream crossings and some steep climbs and descents. They are not the most technical trails but there is a couple of trick areas. There are some nice views of Issaqueena Dam and Lake Hartwell.

To Get There: (Clemson, SC) From Clemson take College Ave. through downtown, cross Hwy. 123 and College Ave becomes Hwy. 133, go past Daniel High School, Take first left past Maws' Grocery on Old Six Mile Hwy. (just before the church) and entrance to Issaqueena on immediate right.

 

Fant's Grove: These trails range from easy to very technical. Mostly single track with a few jeep roads.

To Get There: (Clemson, SC) From Clemson take perimeter Rd heading  for east campus. Take a right at the traffic light, and then make the second right in Cherry Rd.. Take your first left and find a place to park.

 

Whitmire: Mostly quick singletrack with just a little jeep roads. There arre some great downhills and some areas where you can get some great air, There are some technical areas where you ride some some sheer rock faces which can be trick when wet.

To Get There: (Columbia, SC) Take I-26 west out of Columbia to exit 60 turn right. Go three mile and turn right on Brickhouse Rd. Follow stone road till you get to camping area on the right. Park and Ride.

 

Beech Springs: There is about 5 miles of singletrack that range from beginner to advanced. This course offers sections that will give you a thrill like "Gravity Cavity" a sheer 15 foot drop that accelerates your bike from a walk to 25 m.p.h. in matter of seconds and G out the of the cavity with tremendous momentum or "Devil's Drop" a intimidating 80 foot descent that sends you plummeting down into the sandy banks of slippery Rock Creek.

To Get There: (Charlotte, NC) Take I-85 towards Concord. Take Exit 52 and turn right off the ramp. Go approx. 100 yards and turn right on Goodman Rd. (next to asphaly plant) Park is about 1 mile on the left.

 

Bicycle Post Trails: It has four trails, the longest one is 6 miles. Trails range from intermediate to advanced. It is many downhill parts and many uphill parts. There is a great section called "The Bowl" where you go down a steep hill then go up the other side with some serious G force. You have to have a pass to ride which you can get from The Bicycle Post of Greenville.

To Get There: (Greenville, NC) Take Hwy. 43 past Ironwood Golf Course, then past Rock Springs Equestrian Center. Go about 3 miles and turn right on dirt road just passed Jarmen Stables. Take your third left on dirt road and look for trail head.

Tsali Trail: One of the most popular trail systems in the United States. It consists of four different loops: Thompson Loop (7.4 miles), Mouse Branch Loop (6.6 miles), Left Loop (11.9 miles), and Right Loop (11.0 miles). Trails are mostly singletrack on packed clay and dirt with some stream crossings and moderate to steep inclines/drops. There are many views of the Smokies and Lake Fontana in which trails snake around. The trails alternate days of being open, the Right and Left Loop will be open to bikers  and the Thompson and Mouse Branch Loop will be open to horses and then the next day they swap. There is a bathroom and bike wash at the trail head and  camping is allowed. Trails are marked well and there is free maps offered at the trail head. To Get There: (Bryson City) From 17/74 west take 28 north about three miles. Turn right at the National Forest sign and follow gravel road to trail head.
