BUSHPIG LEGENDS

Some cadets and Officers seem to leave a lasting impression on the history of the unit. This may be because of some heroic deed (though usually not), or it may be because of their unique character, their hard work and dedication and their ability to influence the other cadets. Some recent candidates for Bushpig Legend Status appear below.

MAJ(ACC) Errol Grieve - No other single person has made such an impact on the unit. Major Grieve was appointed as an OOC in 1960. He was Commanding Officer of the Unit from 1970 to 1995. When you think of Mudgee Cadet Unit, you think of Errol Grieve.

Wayne Tsipouras
LT(ACC) Wayne Tsipouras - Another OOC who has worked his way up through the ranks. And probably the largest person we have ever called a bushpig (and lived to tell).

Wedding 1991
Members of the Sword Guard of Honour at CAPT(ACC) Bullen's Wedding 1991. Visable is former CUOs Cindy Roach and Jamie Hawkins.

Simone Ribaux
Former CUO Simone Ribaux....tough as nails, never shirked responsibility and everything she did, she did with all her heart. And she is a lovely person too!

Anthony Stewart
Former CUO Anthony "Stretch" Stewart....He was a tall lanky streak of Pelican Poo...but he was also a country gentleman and a fine leader.
