Diary notes of uv vitamin D lamp/oral vitamin D use for heart health.



I'm going to keep a diary as it's too difficult to accurately monitor when I've used the uv vitamin d lamp or oral vitamin d supplements,


Also this helps form a picture of wether a response to the use of them in relation to virus exposure has been a hinderance and wether its helping with rebuilding/downsizing of heart after PFO closure with Amplatzer occuler device.



Wednesday June 7th 2006

Took a Blackmore's vitamin D3 today after an absence of it and UV lamp use for about 6 weeks,

Within 2 hours of taking it noticed a distinctly better mood, more energy and the ramping up of libido,
An indication of its hormonal action.


Thursday June 8th 2006

Regretted taking some oral vitamin d as I'd forgotten plans to go shopping in town and felt quite dreadful upon returning home, Tired, Cranky and strung out,

I should have thought more ahead and chosen a differant day, Took the usual anti virals as soon as I got home,
A nutricology germanium, Some NHK labs retinyl acetate vitamin A and a Blackmore's beta carotene.

Took a blackmore's oral vit D after deciding it was far enough away from Thursdays viral exposure in town after shopping,
Might have been a bit close, Time will tell.


monday June 19th

Felt a bit viral after the oral vit D yesterday but not nearly as bad as when I used some Blackmore's the day before going to town on the 8th,
That distance between taking some vit d and possible viral exposure seems to make all the differance,
Also wether or not the atmosphere on the day of trip to town is dry or damp.

Took another blackmore's oral vit D today, The gap between viral exposure on Thursay shopping and today seems to be a bit close but unavoidable,

Going to make an effort to shop on dry days as this then makes more frequent use of either the lamp or oral vit d a lot more possible,

After effects this close to viral exposure gained by shopping on Thursday aren't too bad If mycellized vitamin A is taken prior to a trip to town and nutricology germanium/RHK vitamin A/ Blackmore's beta carotene are taken as soon as I get home from shopping.

Taking some Mycellized vit A before heading to town must help prevent viral infection a bit,
Still got a bit viral but this seemed less so than last week when I hadn't.

I've decided I really need the lamp for heart health, The oral vit d is great for SAD (seasonal defective disorder) and easier to use but doesn't seem to be doing enough for heart rebuilding or the need for a bit of immune response to implant suppression,

It's really tricky to sandwich use of it inbetween virus exposure this time of year but need it all the same.

I used the lamp at 2.10pm today for about 4 minutes after warming it up for 7 minutes, Moving the lamp slowly but steadily all over body from feet to head back and front holding it about 2/3 inches away from the skin.

A couple of hours after it's use I experianced some small sharp stabbing pains in the heart and I'm hoping this is a sign of heart muscle regrowth/downsizing?

Not sure how I'll go after going to town on Thursday, Hopefully it will be far enough away from then to cause any problems if I contract a virus.

Well energy, mood and heart health seem improved after tuesdays lamp use,
I've decided I must use it once a week for sure all throughout winter,

Despite it having an immune suppressing effect if I don't use it and rely on the oral d alone altho mood is helped heart rebuilding isn't,
I also face the pardoxical situation of needing the suppressive quality to tolerate the Amplatzer Occuler implant or get regular episodes of fibtilation and possibly less rebuilding which I really need.

Shopping on dry days whenever I can for a lesser viral effect and do the lamp at least 3 days either side of a trip to town makes a big differance to the lamps effect on virus exposure,
If thats not possible due to rain I'll have to use the lamp anyway, Taking anti viral supplements on the day of using the lamp directly on finishing use of it.
I did that once before but had forgotten, It seemed to really help on that occation so will in future during the winter months.

I intended to use the lamp about once a week but haven't got around to it this week, Haven't used it since the Tuesday 18th of this month and am feeling the lack of vit d in regard to mood,

I took a blackmore's oral Vit D last night just before bed at 11pm without any vitamin A to counteract any possible down regulation of immune system.

Must also top up my diluted iodine with a couple of drops of straight lugols, Haven't done that for about 5 weeks and it needs to be about every three,
I must document these aspects of the irregular supplements taken so as not to slip up on when to take them or seeing the big picture of effect.

Felt better in mood on rising this morning I'm sure the vitamin D is a good part of that, A couple of hrs after getting up tho I felt a bit strung out,
I didn't take any Vitamin A last night or this morning as I've tried a few times before with the lamp use and am now wondering if I should with the oral vitamin d use also,

Used some of the newly strengthened iodine at 10.30 am and had a late possum liver, veg and cream breakfast which seemed to buck me up in energy as it always does,
Still the underlying feeling of slightly more sensitive skin and affected vision that a virus brings tho, Will try some vit A next time I take oral D and see how that goes.

I plan on using the Vit d lamp in a few days if I havent had any viral exposure, I think theres a place for both the vitamin D uv Lamp and oral D they seem to be good each in differant ways,
Oral for mood, lamp for muscle growth amongst other things.

I'm feeling quite run down this morning, Unfortunately after the uv vitamin d lamp use yesterday I had viral exposure from Amber who spent the day with a viral friend,
She was collected from her fathers place by the friend and taken to the Sunday markets before being brought directly home to me,

She spends every second weekend with her father and while using the lamp during winter it's an added problem, He doesn't share my beliefs regarding health practices/precautions,
Mustn't use the lamp every second Sunday if she goes to stay at his home, I don't exert any control over what happens when she does.

I also Completely forgot to take any anti viral supplements after using the uv vitamin d lamp, A big mistake, they do seem to make a differance afterwards,
I did however take extra iodine yesterday which I'm sure is anti viral in action but unfortunately taking it late kept me from sleeping well last night.
I've taken some germanium, beta carotene and about 1/2 a tiny airline coffee spoon of ra this morning and its kicking in now about 4 hrs later.

Used the uv vit d lamp today at 4.40pm, Warmed it up for 7 minutes as per usual before use,
As soon as I'd finished using the lamp for 3 minutes I took some retinyl acetate, About 1/3 of a tiny airline coffee spoon as I'm sure thats helped before with the immune suppressing action vit d evokes.

I think there is a smidgen of immune suppression going on in spite of taking some ra directly after using the uv vit d lamp,
Not feeling quite as good as the day before lamp use, It's definately not as bad as if not taking ra afterwards tho so I think it pays

I think I'm be building up some vitamin d levels from using the uv lamp, The last few days I've been feeling really cheerful in mood despite it's use evoking a bit of immune suppression & still being viral season.
Feel just almost like I used to when I was taking the oral vit d on a more regular basis, It will be interesting to see if this builds with further use.

I haven't used the lamp for almost 10 days now and it's been too long, it's easy to lose track of when last used so will start and keep a file on notepad,
I've started to feel really up in mood since the last use of it on Sunday 6th and don't want to lose that aspect,
Used it this afternoon at 3.30pm, I used to make sure and use it in the morning as it can be a bit enervating but realized this afternoon it had been awhile so just went ahead anyway,
Took about 1/3 of an airline coffee spoon of retinyl acetate directly afterwards.

I went to town yesterday despite having used the uv lamp the day before that,
Altho the immune suppression factor seems to cut in around 14 hours after lamp use it was a sunny dry morning which seems to make quite a differance to picking up a virus,
I hadn't noticed any immune suppression before I left for town 18hours after the lamp, Taking some ra afterwards does seem to have made a differance,
Also wondering about how much differance in levels of vitamin d are released by the lamp based on how far away from the body it's held while using,
The last time Andrew used it on wednesday august 16th, he held it only an inch away compared to me holding it about 2 inches away and he experienced quite an immune supression reaction,
Not sure if this is also in part due to him not taking any ra afterwards altho he did take a Blackmore's beta carotene.

I spoke to andrew today and he mentioned his use of the uv vit d lamp, He'd used it on Wednesday 16th held at 1 inch away with strong immunosupression and again last night held 3 inches away with much less immunosupression,

This is an EXTREMELY important point he raised on it's use...

i used the lamp at 3 inches before going to bed and it seems to have less immunosuppression

quite a bit less, but still significant since i think i am a bit viral because i did the lamp after going out hunting and returning before dawn and its too close to being cold from hours outside

it was just before bedtime which is too close as i had to take some melatonin to go to sleep

maybe four hours before bedtime is ok

if you really needed a lot of immunosupression holding it very close does the job

btw i also think the further distance (3 inches) has considerably less vit d than the one inch too

heart remuscling with 1" distance is massive
