Meanwhile, on Earth . . .
At the same time on Earth, the national park service finally opened Campbell
National Park (the place where the old Campbell's Soup facility was buried)
to the public. Nerds from around the world had come because of abnormal
radiation readings had been found around the park (Caused by all of the
mushrooms' portal testing). They came with Geiger Counters, metal
detectors, shovels, and Star Wars merchandise. They were searching
for a crashed alien spacecraft something. Within minutes they all
gathered in one spot where they had all detected something. People
started digging while Park Service officials and Secret Service agents
protested (they had tried to keep the facility a secret, although they
didn't know where the radiation was coming from).
Return of the Fungi
When they had dug a few feet, the Geiger counters started clicking like
mad. Then the ground under them exploded and they (and 14 tons of
dirt) all went flying into the air. The Mushrooms had arrived at
the original Campbell's Soup Factory! Thousands of Skull
Warriors marched out of the shimmering, mercury like pool at the bottom
of the pit that had formed. They zapped everyone in the park.
Then Thursdack, Q-Zat, and a human society specialist came out of the pool,
which disappeared. Q-Zat began instructing the Skull Warriors to
build the Mushroom Portal. They marched across Earth, searching for
boulders to build a portal with.
In the meantime, Thursdack and the human society specialist went searching
for a pizza. The specialist questioned people, and Thursdack zapped
them.
"Human, tell me where I can find the food which you humans call Pizza?"
asked the historian.
"Who are you?" asked the human.
"We are superior mushrooms from another dimension, infinitely inferior
human," began Thursdack. "I am Thursdack, son of Phridack, Grand
Courier of Kaizso, the grand Emperor of the Great Mushroom Empire.
I am in search of a human pizza from earth, your pathetic planet.
Tell me where we can
find a human pizza, or I will zap you, for I am far superior in both
power and intelligence to waste my time attempting to extract information
from your pathetic race of ameba sludge."
The human was dazed, but she still directed Thursdack to a restaurant
that served pizza. He shot her and proceeded to the restaurant.
He told the specialist to wait outside and he went in.
