Simply one of the most talented musicans and songwriters in the business, Mark's resume is literally too long to list. He is shown here jamming with The Swains at The Little Red Hen in Seattle Feb, 2005. One of his first bands since relocating in Seattle several years ago, Mark left The Swains and now plays with Knut Bell and The Blue Collars, and The Load Levellers. All are very well respected Seattle bands and they play high profile gigs like The Tractor. Mark's original writing and characters of The Dick Twang Band are famous the world over, and his hit song "Old Blue Car" has been circulated around the world with over 400,000 downloads from the old Napster, #2 on mp3.com, #1 on indiebandcanada and is an underground cult classic. He has am impressive catalog and has written many very powerful songs and continues to. Mark played with Marty in the early days of Stratewood before he went on the road as part of the Boogie Band, Electric Canadians, Bear Mountain Boys, Tower Bridge, etc etc. He is known in Seattle as Billy Burns.
