Make your mark!

day THREE

Exhaustion was really starting to hit me at this point. Worth it like you wouldn't believe, but pretty arduous nonetheless. This day began early at Crush (not early enough - apparently Tom Hooper did a short set sometime closer to 6 which I was hoping to catch - he told me 7:30, I swear it!), where I watched a couple of hip-hop sets; Ben Nevel (not photographed) and City Planners. From there, I walked towards the Tom Lee Music Hall (where I didn't end up catching the Mediaeval Baebes), and on the way, ran into Robbie K from Mr. Underhill, who told me about the changed schedule at the Royal that night. An extra band had been slotted in the middle of the showcase, disrupting everyone else's time slots. TRANSFORMER, who showed up when they were originally scheduled, ended up not being able to play because they didn't have all their gear and were late according the the new schedule. They hadn't even been informed. It was a taste of things to come, as shows were well over-capacity or rescheduled all over town. The wrap party, held in a somewhat-private establishment, and which I was invited to by the fine folks in Marianas Trench, was a great way to see a lot of people one more time and relax after such a stressful day. Up at the top of the page is Pinto and Mik from Crystal Pistol, well into the afterparty. Don't they look charming?
