My name is Andy Scheffler, and this is my third year photographing New Music West. Though I possessed my camera almost half a year prior to NMW 2000, I didn't really start shooting with it frequently until I got my coveted media pass to the 2000 festival. Having the free reign to go to any shows over a full weekend did wonders for my shooting ability and my music interests.
