1950 LOS ANGELES RAMS
NFL Absorbs AAFC, leaving Rams as lone pro team in Los Angeles after four years of two-league existence. In February, Stydahar becomes head coach, replacing Shaughnessy. Club opens new offices on Beverly Boulevard.-Bill Granholm begins 18-year tenure Team sets 22 league records in rolling to conference title tie. Waterfield and end Tom Fears lead playoff win over Bears 24-14, but following week in Cleveland, Lou Grozas late field goal stops Rams title hopes, 30-28. Waterfield is named NFL Player of the Year by Washington DC Touchdown Club. Fears Huffman and Reinhard receive All-Pro recognition



1951 LOS ANGELES RAMS
Rams win third straight conference title on final day of season, then defeat Cleveland -at the Coliseum, 24-17ron 73-yard pass, Van Brocklin to Fears, for first world title since moving to Los Angeles Running backs tank Younger and Dan Towler join Stan West and Larry-Brink on All-Pro team.



1952 LOS ANGELES RAMS
After team looses 3 straight pre-season games and drop the home opener by big score, Stydahar resigns. He is replaced as Head Coach by Hamp Pool as .Team looses 2 of next 3 but wins last 8 to tie for conference title. Rams trade 11 players to Dallas for rookie Les Richter, who then enters Army for two years; Waterfield retires Dan Towler, Larry ,Brink and Stan West are named to All-Pro team for second straight year, while Herb Rich makes it for first time.

1953 LOS ANGELES RAMS
Club Owner Harold Pauley passes away Team compiles 8-3-1 record, losing three games by total of eight points to finish third in conference. Rams defeat world champ Lions in both games. Elroy Hirsch, Dan Towler, Andy Robustelli and Don Paul named All-Pro.

1954 LOS ANGELES RAMS
Bonus Choice Bill Wade and Tradee Les Richter both Join Rams as rookies two years after going from college into Military service Norm Van Brocklin earns NFL Player of the year by Washington D.C. touchdown club Team has 6-5-1 mark End Bob Boyd is the only Ram named to all pro. All assistant coaches resign and Head coach Pool follows thereafter




1955 LOS ANGELES RAMS
On Jan, 26, Rams hire Sid Gilman as head coach who served at the University of Cincinnati replacing Pool. A stiff defense and along with clutch Field Goal kicking by Richter gives Rams a tough 8-3-1 record enough for conference title. Cleveland wins title game at Coliseum 38-14. Duane Putnam, Norm Van Brocklin, Ron Waller Andy Robustelli, Les Richter, and Will Sherman give Rams six all-pro selections.

1956 LOS ANGELES RAMS
In form reversal team loses five consecutive early-season games and finishes in cellar in tie with 4-8 record. Duane Putnam and Les Richter earn All-Pro honors for second straight year

1957 LOS ANGELES RAMS
Rams owners name former Ram publicist Pete Rozelle as General Manager, Team loses squeaker on road to 49ers and Lions, finishing 6-6-0, but only two games behind conference leaders. Guard Duane Putnam receives All-Pro Recognition





1958 LOS ANGELES RAMS
In preseason trade, Van Brocklin goes to Eagles. Bill Wade sets many Ram passing marks en route to 8-4-0 year. Three Rams Duane Putnam Del Shofner and Jon Arnett, are first team All-Pro choices.

1959 LOS ANGELES RAMS
Team has general letdown and many injuries for worst season since 1937, finishing 2-10-0. Ollie Matson, acquired in big trade, is workhorse at fullback. On last day of season, Gillman and staff resign. Del Shofner and Duane Putnam are repeat choices to All-Pro team.
