Felina had been silent for the last hour. Xelloss had just stayed watching her, Zeta at his feet, not happy to be laying on the floor while Fel was on the couch. "I want to go back." Fel managed to say at last. "Are you ok?" Xelloss smiled warmly. "Yes." Fel replied coldly. "Are you sure?" Xelloss insisted. "Yes!" Fel exclaimed, then sighed. "Sorry, don't wish to be rude." "Don't worry. I understand!" Xelloss waved her words away. "It's hard to realize suddenly that someone, who you dispise, your sister, was after all, no matter her bad manners, the savior of the world you live at." "Rub it." Fel growled. "Ok ok! Don't get angry." Xelloss backed away. He took her hand and got out of the astral plane. Zeta climbed inmediately to the couch and fell asleep. Xelloss and Fel appeared at her room. It was dark. Night had falled already. "Well, you are back and save. Just like Shiana-san would like." Fel smirked. "Shi." She sat on her bed. "I wonder what she is doing now." "Something important for sure." Xelloss sat at her side. "By the way, what you know about her?" "Shi?" Fel blinked. "Shiana Naize is very secretive. I sometimes wonder if that's her real name. I mean, who would call herself 'death'?! Cause that's her real name, or that's what she says, Shi Naize." "Really?" Xelloss was surprised. "Yes. She added the 'ana' to make it less scary." Fel smiled. "But she is still scary. It's her actitude." "It is a scary name, 'Death's Soul'." Xelloss thought outloud. "Death's Soul?" Fel asked. "Yes. In mazoku language, Naize means soul." Xelloss grinned. "But I don't think Shiana-san is scary, nor her actitude." "She is weird sometimes. Like you." Fel took off her white leather boots. "Weird?" Xelloss giggled. "I've been called everything, but not weird!" "There's always a first time ne?" Fel grinned. "Yeah. Like that dissapearing thing. She dissapears usually at night. If I didn't know she is human, I would think she is mazoku like you." "Why are you sure she is human then?" Xelloss stopped smiling. "Cause she bleeds. Mazoku don't bleed ne?" Fel waited for his answer. "No. We don't." Xelloss smiled again, but sighed inwardly. ::No clue about her then.:: "By the way, you didn't answer me one question." Fel brought him back to this world. "What do you wish to know?" Xelloss smiled. "What did my sister mean to you? You told me that to Gourry she was everything. What about you?" Xelloss wagged one finger at her. "Sore wa himitsu desu!" "Huh?" Fel blinked. ::Where have I heard that before?:: She thought for a while trying to remember, but then came back to herself. "If you excuse me, I want to refresh to go down to have dinner." Fel smiled. "Oh yes! Sorry. Bye." Xelloss vanished. Fel sighed and walked to the mirror. She looked at her reflection. "Similar. Alike. No more. Lina Inverse, have I been wrong all this time? Xelloss talked so enthusiastically of you sister, that you suddenly turned godlike,-inmortal in his mind, in the other's mind. I was wrong to feel offended by the names you had and I gained free?" A giggle brought Fel out of her trance. It came from the balcony. There she was again. The girl she had seen this morning. "Who are you?" Fel demanded. The girl started walking towards the room. A strong wind blew the curtains and when it calmed, the girl had dissapeared. Fel ran to the balcony finding no one around. She frowned. "I must be more hungry than what I imagined." --<--@ --<--@ "More hungry than she imagined?!" Shiana screeched. She could hear someone laughing. "Come out." "More hun-hungry than she ima-imagined!" a woman with black, curly hair and in blue and lily robes materialized at Shi's side, rolling back and forth, laughing. Shi sighed and smiled. "I wonder where she got the Gabriev heritage. Sometimes she is too dumb." "Hai! Hai!" the woman took deep breaths trying to calm her laugh attack. Shi frowned and went back to her serious stance."I don't have it out yet. What brings you around Jyanesu?" "I need it now." Jyanesu stated, stopping abruptly her laughing. "Phibi's and Gaav's are loosing their power. You know, they have long dead and their survival magic is coming to a limit." "Use Dalphin's" Shi answered matter of factly. "Hey! Believe it or not, old grudges keep alive!" Jyanesu giggled. "Come on! Don't tell me that the gems hate each other." Shi smirked. "They do! It's true!" Jyanesu pouted. "So you need Xellass' to keep them alive? Now?" Shi looked kinda worried. "Yup. God girl! You are so intelligent sometimes!" Jyanesu exclaimed. "Stop it, if you don't want me to fry you NOW." Shi glared. Jyanesu giggled. "Calm down. All this resurrection thing have you pretty explosive. Besides, what would you do without Shabranigdo's Priestess? There would be no resurrection and your existence purpose wouldn't be justified." Shiana grinned. "I'm superior. I can do what you are supposed to do." "Oh really?" Jyanesu arched one eyebrow. "Yeah." Shi smiled, knowing she had disturbed the priestess. At last she closed her eyes and began the spell. "While the shadows cover the darkness. While chaos rules over darkness. Bow to my power lord of lords. Obey my word." The red gem (a ruby for those who hadn't brainstormed), began glowing with fury. Shi took deep breaths trying to concentrate on the spell instead of the pain. "Surrender to my will, lord of lords for my will is HER will." Jyanesu brought her hands over Shi's open chest as they both recited. "Beating like a human heart. Glowing as a dragons' stolen gold. Evil as chaos. Lay on me. Feed on me." "For I claim to be your resurrector." Shi chanted alone. "Lord of the five lords of darkness, Ruby Eye Shabranigdo,-" "Abandon this body." Jyanesu whispered and snatched the ruby out of Shi's chest. Shi screamed and curled to a ball covering the hole. "Thank you! I'll send you a 'get well soon' card later. Bye!" She vanished. "Welcome." Shi mumbled and closed her eyes, slowly passing away. --<--@ --<--@ "No Zelgadis. She isn't Lina." Amelia answered Zel's unspoken question. He had turned ghost white when Fel had walked into the dinning room. "I'm Felina Inverse." Fel sat at the seat Amelia had given her that morning, besides Gourry who had not arrived yet. "Felina Inverse?" Zelgadis repeated not coming out of his surprise yet. "Yes. Lina's younger sister." Amelia refilled his cup of tea. "Why didn't Lina ever mentioned her?" Zelgadis sipped his tea. "We never meet, umm...Mr. Zelgadis." Fel answered. "And even if she knew you, maybe she wouldn't have mentioned you. We," Amelia looked at Zelgadis, "Zel and I, learned she had a sister a year later of traveling together. Ne Zelgadis?" Zelgadis nodded. "Sorry for making you wait!" Gourry walked in, "Good evening Amelia, Fel." He sat down and noticed there was someone else. "Oh, good evening sir." Amelia smiled. "Don't you recognize him?" "Huh?" Gourry looked better at the man sitting infront of him, "Nope. Am I supposed to know him?" "It's me Gourry!" Zelgadis exclaimed. "Nope!" Gourry smiled, "I'm Gourry. I don't know who are you." Everyone's head dropped to the table. Amelia recovered first. "Gourry, it's Zelgadis." Gourry frowned and studied the man infront of him. Then smiled again. "Nope. Zelgadis has rock skin and metal string hair. And this guy's hair didn't stuck on the table." Zelgadis sweatdropped. "I found at last the cure to my malefice." Gourry rubbed his head and took a better look on the man. He noticed the beige outfit and the hairstyle. In his mind he took an image of the chimera and this man and placed them together. After some minutes, a bulb lighted up as he finally matched the resemblance. "You really are Zelgadis!!!" "How much was it?" Zelgadis turned to Amelia. "Three minutes of thoughts. Five trying to convince him." Amelia wrote what she had just said to a notepad. "Hmm.." Zelgadis nodded. "Maybe when he is 50, he'll catch up things easier." "Seems so." Amelia agreed. "I already catch things easily. Throw me something and you'll see!" Gourry exclaimed. Fel just looked at the trio. ::Weirds.:: She finished her sixth glass of wine. "Delicious." She whispered. "It's from your homeland, Zefilia." Xelloss was sitting beside her. "Zelgadis ol' friend! Glad to have you back." Zelgadis' eyes narrowed. "Mazoku..." Xelloss nodded. "Yeap. I'm still one. Where you found the cure Zel-pal?" "I'm not your pal." Zel growled. "He got a good question." Gourry interrupted since he noticed fireworks. "At Sailarg. Not saying more infront of him." Zel glares at Xel. "Why you don't trust me Zel-pal?" Xelloss pouted, just to tease Zelgadis a little bit. "Excuse me, are we going to have dinner or no?" Fel interrupted, her stomach growling. "Of course. Sorry!" Amelia called the servants and they brought the dinner. They all ate quietly, except Xel who didn't eat, and Fel who kept chatting with him about the Zefilian wine and her homeland. "Fel?" Amelia called. Felina turned to look at Amelia. "Yes your majesty?" "Amelia will be fine." Amelia smiled. "I wanted to invite you to travel with us to the city of Atrax. We'll leave tomorrow at noon." Fel didn't hesitate. "Shi will be coming back in five days. I can't move from here." "You can leave her a message and she'll wait for you here." Amelia insited. "I-I dunno." Fel turned to look at Xelloss. "If you are asking my opinion I say go. Shiana-san won't get angry for you going out with them." He smiled. "Hmm...fine. I'll go. I hope Shi doesn't gets angry at me." Fel sighed. "By the way, you don't have anything better to do?" Zelgadis talked to Xel. "No. Like I told your friends, I'm homeless. Besides, I've always felt comfortable with you guys." Xelloss smiled. "I thought you were always homeless." Zelgadis smirked. "Yes and no. I'm masterless too, so I have nothing better to do than to stick around you guys." Xelloss emptied his wine glass. "What do you mean?" Zelgadis demaned "What other meaning do you know to the word masterless?" Xelloss grinned. "You know what I am asking." Zel glared. He had never trusted Xelloss and he wouldn't start now. "His master was killed." Amelia answered. She didn't like to be left out. Gourry was still eating. "Who did it?" Zel inquired, this time looking surprised at Xelloss. Xelloss shrugged."No idea. Deep Sea Dalphin is dead too. Only Dynast Graushera is left of the dark lords of Shabbranigdo. " "Sounds like something I read between Rezo's papers." Zelgadis thought outloud. Xelloss frowned. He had read every letter, every book, Rezo, The Red Priest had written before being anhilated by Lina Inverse, and he had never found something that could be related to the lords' deaths. "Are you sure?" Zelgadis thougth twice on anwering but Amelia insited him to talk. "Yes. It was about Shabbranigdo's resurrection. Gaav, the Demon Dragon, first. Phiblizo, the Hellmaster second, Deep Sea Dalphin third, Xellass Metallium fourth." "Dynast Graushera is the last one on the evil circle under Shabbranigdo's domain." "Did that text say anything else?" Amelia inquired. "Yes, but I don't remember exactly." "Take me to were you found that information." Xelloss' eyes were open. "Why should I?" Zelgadis stared at him. Xelloss shrugged. "Do you really need a reason?" "I would never help you mazoku." Zelgadis grinned. "I will never tell you." "Then I'll have to give you something to think on." Xelloss grinned. Zelgadis began screaming. Amelia, Fel, and Gourry went to him inmediately. Xel levitated infront of them. Suddenly one arm, and half of Zel's face became of rock again. "Undo this!!" Amelia demanded. Gourry unsheathed his sword. "Come on Xelloss, stop playing. Stop!" Xelloss smiled evily, eyes in two perfect slits. "You have till tomorrow noon to give me your answer Zelgadis. But I must warn you, if you deny you'll stay half human, half chimera. It will be worst than the first time cause only I can undo it." He closed his eyes and smiled again. "Have a good night my friends. Good night Fel." He vanished. Zelgadis looked at his rock arm. "DAMN YOU XELLOSS!!!!" He shouted to the top of his lungs. Amelia and Gourry tried to calm him down but it was impossible. From behind Fel watched in atonishment. ::Shiana Naize, how could you leave me here with all this weird people?!::
