Summary

I am a project manager with over ten years experience in the IT industry, a strong technical background, and the ability to deal with conflicting demands from users and managers whilst implementing projects to tight deadlines.

I have been responsible for managing five customer sites, all with different requirements in their particular implementations of the Context housing database. I have overseen three of these projects from preliminary meetings to successful live running, and the remaining two have both been upgraded from extensively modified systems to the latest release of the software.

My role involves extensive contact with all levels of people within each organization, including users, technical staff and senior management, split between on-site meetings and telephone/modem support.

I am currently implementing scheduling software to manage human resources within the company, and providing on site technical support for two large Unix sites. I also have experience of integrating UNIX and Windows NT networks in order to allow remote printing and file access.
