Welcome to the web site of NH Peace Action. Please join us in the evolution towards Peace. The elimination of war and promotion of non-violent conflict resolution practices requires citizen education and particpation. Our mission for this site is to assist in both of these functions. Feedback to elected representatives is vital to the success of the process of transisting to a peace-based culture. Staying informed of the issues affecting us is also very important. That is why this site will attempt to keep you up to date with the events and issues affecting us, as well as assist you in the feedback to elected representatives process.

Reports from the Summer 2000 Basra, Iraq Project

Lauren Cannon and Tom Jackson both of Dover, NH, and members of New Hampshire Peace Action, participated in the Voices in the Wilderness Basra 2000 project. They were in Basra, Iraq where they lived with poor families and subsisted on rations provided through the Oil For Food program. Below you will find reports written by Lauren, Tom and Kathy Kelly of Chicago, IL.
