Please don't let all your problems bottle up inside until they explode. Many officers have been through the same problems that you have and have learned to overcome them. The bottle and the gun are not the answers. The PBA has an organization called Cop's Cop that is entirely confidential and is run by cops like us. They are there to listen to you regardless of what time of day or night. These cops are not compensated by money or any other benefit other than the benefit of wanting to help another cop. Call them at 888 COPS COP. You can remain anonymous if you wish. If you feel that you cannot speak to someone or feel that you are better at expressing your feelings in writing, feel free to email me at Citiblues@worldnet.att.net and just type COP IN NEED in the subject area. I will get back to you as soon as possible. We can exchange email as many times and for as long as you wish. I will listen. Remember that suicide destroys many lives, not just yours.
