| Olan Sonnier B. 11/26/49 Wife Lynda Bruno B.9/8/47 _______D.11/8/01 My greatgrandfather Olan Sonnier was the son of Constance Sonnier and Emelia Moreau. Constance Sonnier was the son of Valerie Sonnier and Arthemise Carriere. Valerie Sonnier was the son of Silvain Sonnier, Jr. and his second wife, Judith Bello. This is most likely the Olan Sonnier who married Nieze (Anise) Fontenot. This couple had children Emily Sonnier born 8/14/1901 in Oberlin, Allen Parish and Ezeb Sonnier born on 3/25/1905 and died in August 1973 in Oberlin, Allen Parish, LA. Emily and Ezeb Sonnier had as half sister and brothers, Lelitia Sonnier Veillon, Lewis Veillon, and Martin Veillon. In the 1920 Allen Parish, LA census records, Ezeb Sonnier, is living with Mack McGee age 53 and his wife, Octavia age 45. Ezeb is listed as a nephew age 14. Further down the same page are Marzine (Magnesime/Onezime) Sonnier age 65, his family and his mother, Emily Moreau age 85. Next door to Marzine is Aerelia?? (probably Covignac Marie) Sonnier age 43 and his family. This is strong circumstantial evidence that Ezeb and Emily Sonnier's father was Olan Sonnier, son of Constance Sonnier. Olin Sonnier is buried in Durio Cemetery, Allen Parish, LA. Two of his brothers, Valerie and Magnesime, are buried there also. Their son Constant Sonnier was born December 08, 1879, Chat. Ch. By his age, he probably is Marie Magnesime Sonnier, b. November 26, 1855, Opel. Ch." I did not find the other baptismal records for the children of Constant and Emelia Sonnier.
