    Nez Perce Woman

Inwholise was a Nez Perce Squaw that was with Chief Joseph when he made his run for the Canadian border. There is information that she was shot at the "Battle of Big Hole", however she later was seen in eastern Montana in the company of Andrew Garcia.

There is more information on Chief Joseph and his incredible maneuvering against the US Calvery as he and his band tried to get into Canada.
