The Original paintings and drawings shown on these pages are meant for the serious collector. I realize that the current economy is not the best environment for an individual to launch into the world of collecting original art, but I would be remiss if I did not point out the potential of doing just that.

I am not in any way trying to discourage you from buying “Limited Edition”, or “Signed by the Artist” reproductions. I sell a great many of these reproductions, and they will appreciate over time as they become more valuable. However, you must consider that Original Art will be appreciating at the same rate, or very likely at a greater rate.

The “Original” is the “Holy Grail” for the collector. There will never be another like it, and as the artist continues to produce more and more art: that art is very likely to gain in value.

However, there is more to collecting than financial gain. The personal satisfaction of possessing an “Original” that gives you joy far out weighs any thought of financial gain. That is the very thing that enhances a person’s life and the lives of their children.
