Arthur G. Oliver
Arthur Oliver was born July 5, 1932 in Lineville, AL to Hugh Alvin Oliver
and Mary Hodnett on Jim Hester's farm. He is the 6th and last child of that union.
He is known affectionately to family as "Gay" and to others in the community
as "Coach Oliver". He enjoys a good game of golf and the study of the
bible. He is currently a member of the Springhill Baptist church where he has
has been an ordained deacon since March 13, 1964. He has served as the
church treasure and presently serves as the financial clerk and Sunday School
Superintendent.
