A
Deeper Vision on the Evil of Satan's Trinity Doctrine
Click to go to our Home PageThis Sabbath day, February 18, 2006, the
Lord gave me a deeper vision on the Trinity Doctrine, explaining to me in
outline form exactly how Satan has profited as the originator of that
doctrine which became the central doctrine of the Catholic church or ·
The Holy Spirit
is the life and soul of the Son of Man.
"Christ declared that after his ascension, he would send to his
church, as his crowning gift, the Comforter, who was to take his place. This
Comforter is the Holy Spirit,--the soul of his life, the efficacy of his
church, the light and life of the world. With his Spirit Christ sends a
reconciling influence and a power that takes away sin. · In the gift
of the Spirit [HIS LIFE--THE SOUL OF HIS LIFE], Jesus gave to man the highest
good that heaven could bestow....The Spirit was given as a regenerating
agency, and without this the sacrifice of Christ would have been of no
avail....It is by the Spirit that the heart is made pure. Through the Spirit
the believer becomes a partaker of the divine nature. Christ has given his
Spirit as a divine power to overcome all hereditary and cultivated tendencies
to evil, and to impress his own character upon the church." E.G. White,
Review and Herald Articles, May 19, 1904, vol. 5, p. 42. · Phl 2:7 But
made himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form of a servant, and
was made in the likeness of men: · Phl 2:8 And
being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto
death, even the death of the cross. · The Son
emptied Himself of His Divinity to become a servant: “Form
of a servant. Paul is contrasting
“the form of God” with “the form of a servant” and emphasizing the vast
difference between the two estates.
The same word (morphe) is
used for “form” here as in “form of God” (v. 6). The word for “servant” (doulos) is that commonly used for
“slave” (see on Rom. 1:1); so the apostle is saying that Christ emptied
Himself and took on the essential attributes of a slave. As a slave’s outstanding characteristic is
that of rendering unquestioning obedience, so as a man the Son undertook to
render obedience to the Father (cf. on Heb. 5:8). He grasped not at divine sovereignty, but
as service, which became the ruling passion of His life. (Matt. 20:28). His whole life was subordinated to the will
of the Father, as our lives should be.
The life of Christ thus became the simple outworking of the will of
God (MB 14, 15; DA 208). How all this
could be accomplished is beyond human comprehension; it is a part of the
great “mystery of godliness” (see 1 Tim. 3:16). But we may clearly see how small is any
sacrifice on our part by way of comparison with the sacrifice of Him whom we profess to follow. Shall we who are so far inferior to Christ
stand so much on our frail reputations that we find it difficult or
impossible to yield our wills to the will of God? When we share in the true spirit of Christ,
when He dwells within us and we live the life of the Son of God, the
objective of Paul’s admonition in the early verses of this chapter will have
been fulfilled in us. We will then be
like Christ.” SDA Bible Commentary on
Philippians 2:7., Vol. 7, p. 155. · God is
Spirit and the Father, Son and Holy Spirit are of the same ONE ETERNAL
SPIRIT. That is what constitutes them
as ONE GOD. The question may arise as
to how the Holy Spirit was present at the forging of the Everlasting Covenant
if the third person was not formed until the Incarnation of the Son. The answer is that by the same principle that
Christ was slain from the foundation of the world, so His Holy Spirit was
present when He volunteered to empty Himself of that Spirit as a bequeathed
gift to man. Rev 13:8 And all that dwell upon the earth shall worship
him, whose names are not written in the book of life of the
Lamb slain from the foundation of the
world. Time is not a factor with
the Godhead. Seeing the end from the
beginning, the Son experienced everything He would incur when covenanting to
become the Saviour of man. The same
applies to the Father. We should love
Him equally, because being omniscient, He experienced everything His Son
experienced. Meditate on this. · "Before
Christ came in the likeness of men, he existed in the express image of his
Father. He thought it not robbery to be equal with God. Nevertheless He
voluntarily emptied himself, and took the form of a servant. He was the
incarnate God, the light of heaven and earth. In him are hid all the
treasures of wisdom and knowledge." (Ellen G. White, Youth's Instructor,
20th December 1900 'Christ's humiliation") · Christ’s
Incarnation BEFORE THE CROSS, was a
great sacrifice—the sacrifice of His DIVINE ONLY BEING as a
bequeathed gift to us for the express purpose of overcoming and being
restored to the image of God. ·
The Trinity
Doctrine, originated by Satan, seeks to obviate the great sacrifice of the
Son of God at His Incarnation, by teaching that the Holy Spirit existed for
eternity with the Father and the Son, and is merely sent to comfort us. Does the Bible teach another mission of the
Holy Spirit? Bible text: Act 3:26 Unto you first God, having raised up his
Son Jesus, sent him to bless you, in
turning away every one of you from his iniquities. ·
"The Power
of God in the Third Person.--The prince of the power of evil can only be held
in check by the power of God in the third person of the Godhead, the Holy
Spirit.-- Special Testimonies, Series A, No. 10, p. 37. (1897). ·
The
Trinity Doctrine, in teaching that the Holy Spirit co-existed eternally with
the Father and the Son, exempts the
great sacrifice of the Son of His Holy Spirit life and soul for our
empowerment and regeneration. ·
"The
Incarnation of Christ was an act of self-sacrifice; His life was one of
continual self-denial. The highest glory of the love of God to man was manifested
in the sacrifice of His only-begotten Son, who was the express image of His
person. This is the great mystery of godliness. It is the privilege and the
duty of every professed follower of Christ to have the mind of Christ.
Without self-denial and cross bearing we cannot be His disciples." E.G.
White, Selected Messages, Book 2, p. 185. ·
By teaching
that the Trinity Doctrine existed eternally, there is no eternal death of the
Son to His former DIVINE ONLY BEING, thus satisfying the demands of the Testator
Covenant and man’s eternal death decree for sin. ·
Three days in a
tomb does not atone for man’s death decree.
So in effect, the Trinity Doctrine obviates the very Atonement for
man’s sin. ·
As the
originator of the Trinity Doctrine, it was Satan’s purpose to denigrate the
Atonement by suggesting the unfairness of the Atonement by implying that it
consisted ONLY of Christ’s entombment for three days and nights rather than
being a form of eternal death to His former DIVINE ONLY BEING. This is the closest Divinity could come to
dying forever to His former life paralleling and paying the debt of our
eternal death penalty for sin. ·
Satan’s purpose
was to teach by His Trinity Doctrine that there was no sacrifice associated
with the gift of the Holy Spirit—that it was merely to comfort one IN SIN. ·
Satan’s wife, ·
Satan profits
in the SDA acceptance of the Trinity Doctrine in a similar way ·
Satan’s
purpose—To teach that there was no sacrifice associated with the person of
the Holy Spirit; that the third person existed eternally as a separated third
person of the Godhead. ·
To
deflect from the sacrifice of Christ at His Incarnation when He emptied
Himself of His Divine Nature ONLY life and soul and bequeathed it to man as
an empowerment gift of grace for the purpose of overcoming sin and
regenerating man back into the image of Christ. ·
The
Trinity doctrine denies that sacrifice of the Divine Nature of the Son of
Man, which, at His Incarnation, laid aside His life and soul as the Holy
Spirit person. "The darkness rolled away from the Saviour and from the
Cross. Christ bowed His head and died. In His Incarnation He had reached the
prescribed limit as a sacrifice, but not as a redeemer." E.G. White,
Manuscript Releases Volume Twelve, p. 409. ·
"The

The Everlasting
Testator Covenant demanded the death of the Testator in atonement for man’s
eternal death penalty. The Son must
die to something eternally to meet the prescribed specification of the
Everlasting Covenant Testator demands. ·
Hbr 9:16 For
where a testament [is], there must also of necessity be the death of the
testator. ·
Hbr 9:17 For a
testament [is] of force after men are dead: otherwise it is of no strength at
all while the testator liveth. ·
Three days of
entombment by a God that cannot die is no atonement for our penalty of sin
which is eternal death. ·
The Son’s
eternal death to His DIVINE ONLY state of BEING, serves as the only form of
eternal death that God could engage because Divinity cannot die and Ellen
White said that Divinity did not die on the cross. So how was the Testator testament fulfilled
when the Testator was the Son of God, and He was Divinity ONLY when He made
that Testament. Christ’s humanity
could not atone for our sin and His Divinity did not die. The problem is solved by accepting Ellen
White’s definition of the Holy Spirit as being the life and soul of Christ
and that the Son was emptied of that life and bequeathed it to us so that we
could partake of His DIVINE NATURE: ·
2Pe 1:4
Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises: that by
these ye might be partakers of the divine nature, having
escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust. ·
The
proper identity has everything to do with the personality and presence of
Christ. This was to be involved in the
Omega of Apostasy, as was the Alpha.
Via His Divine Nature Holy Spirit, Holy Ghost, Christ can indwell us
for the purpose of empowering us and restoring us to His image. Without that gift, such empowerment and
restoration would have been impossible. ·
"But
through the power of the incarnation of Christ, God manifest in the flesh,
the strength of God is revealed in gentleness and beauty. To 'as many as
received him, to them gave he POWER to become the sons of God.' By this POWER
we may OVERCOME OUR EVIL TENDENCIES and so modify our imperfect dispositions
that the will of God may be fulfilled in us."--Letter 79, May 7, 1903,
