357th Must Know Voice Comm Lingo
Blind
Lost visual contact with appropriate friendly aircraft.
Generally means that the wingman lost sight of a flight lead
Bogey
Unidentified aircraft that may be hostile
Bandit
Identified enemy aircraft.          "Bandit 109, SouthEast low"
Break
 A quick, high G turn taken to avoid  gun shot.
C.A.P.
Combat Air Patrol; a route or position in the air in which fighters fly looking for enemies.
C.A.S.
Close Air Support: Support given by planes to forces on the ground.
Check Six
 Lingo for Watch your back (six o'clock position, or rear of the airplane)
Extend
Directive to temporally depart the immediate ‘fight’ location gain energy, distance, time, situational awareness, or a combination of all. The intent is to reengage as soon as desired parameter is achieved.
No Joy
Lost or no visual contact with the target/bandit
N.O.E.
Nap-Of-the-Earth; low-level flying
RTB
Returning to base, Usually because of damage or lack of ammo.
Seperate
Leaving a specific engagement
Tally
"Tally Ho!" May be called by a pilot when he first reaches visual contact with a bandit.
Tumbleweed
Indicates limited situation awareness, no tally, no visual, a request for information.
Winchester
Out of all Ammunition, Totally defensive.
