Saturday, Sept. 23rd, 10:40 p.m. - Washington Avenue and East 169th St. A 46 year old man will be facing various charges as he stands in front of a judge. The man owns a horse and stables it in the Bronx. When arrested, the man was riding the horse while in an intoxicated condition. The horse was ridden into a tree and sustained minor injuries which required veterinary treatment. He was charged with reckless endangerment, criminal mischief and other cruelty charges are being pressed by the ASPCA. An attorney from the Legal Aid Society represented the perpetrator in court and unfortunately the charges were dismissed.
