General Knowledge: Materials

     Considering most beginners don't care about whether they have PVC, ABS or even Aircraft grade Aluminum, I will use PVC as the default material of choice

18" of 4" Schedule 40 PVC Pipe
18" of 2" Schedule 40 PVC Pipe
2" x 4" Increaser/Degreaser
4" Cleanout Fitting
Plug for above 
1/2" screws (threaded w/ point, I use woodscrews)
Wire (around 16 or 18 gauge, insulated of course)
Electricians Tape
Red Button BBQ Replacement Igniter

Primer and Pipe Cement
High-Grain sandpaper (fine or extra fine)
Screwdriver (that fits selected screws)
Hacksaw, unless pipe was cut at store
Medium File or Grinder/Sander
