Under Construction

Ricardo Nunes's Astrophoto Gallery

About me:

I'm a Portuguese amateur astronomer and I use a 2.4'' altazimutal refractor and a 4.5'' German equatorial reflector.

I'm also a member of the Portuguese Amateur Astronomers Association - A.P.A.A.- where I learned about adapting webcams to do astrophotography. I think that these cameras are a very interesting way of entering into CCD imaging for a small price and also to get good results from modest telescopes.

Over the time I've got the chance to use better telescopes and different cameras. On this page you'll find images made with:

Black & White QuickCam

Webcam II

MX516

28-70 mm camera lens

2.4'' and 4'' refractors

4.5'' Newtonian

90 mm ETX

8'' LX200

Enjoy!
