Music I Listen To

Well, I know they may make a funny combinaion of artists, but they help me through a lot of on-days, and off-days. I hope they can do the same for you. :oD

Nickelback, a Candian band who are currently on the rise.

Incubus, a band I have fallin in love with, both of their albums rule, and I recommend them to anyone.

Tool, a band that I enjoy only when I'm really mellow. Their music tends to put me to sleep, but it's a real spooky slow sound.

The Red Hot Chili Peppers, how can you not love this band? Their newest, "By The Way" kicks just as much ass as "Californication" did. I love how they can re-invent themselves.

Nine Inch Nails...nuff said.

Madonna, someone I just love to sing.

Dido

Fleetwood Mac

Tom Petty, a great classic who can rock the house on cd, or live. Either way you're not human if you don't like Tom.

Smashing Pumkins, kinda sux that they broke up, but I guess someone had to knock poor ole Blly off his high horse!

Train, I don't have Drops of Jupiter, but their first album kicks some majour ass! I was addicted to it when I first bought it, and it's definately one of my faves.

Backstreet Boys, I have almost all their albums. They're my guilty pleasure...*g*

Steve Miller Band, someone you can always tap your toes to.

Sheryl Crow, have almost all of her albums but the newest one. They all kick butt, but I don't understand her obsession with communism...

P.O.D, Sattelite is a pretty rockin album, and my husband loves it just as much as I do.

3 Doors Down, just a powerful message over-all. Both albums are great.

Default, yet another Canadian band

Linkin Park, Re-Animated kicks just as much ass as their debut Hybrid Theory did. Their newest cd, can't member name, rocks just the same. Buy any and you definately won't regret it.

Disturbed, they just rock. I'd classify them as bangin music.

Bif Naked, a cool Canadian female artist

ABBA, a way cool group...with totally catchy tunes. :o] They're classic.

Nazareth, rock band from who knows when with kick ass songs to rock out to.

Usher, an updated R&B artist that I've kinda gotten into...what I would call a guilty pleasure.

Our Lady Peace a Canadian Band that has some really great talent, and a great new album. I've got all of their albums , and I went to see them live in concert. They kicked ass of course, and if I would've had the energy to, I would've stayed and gotten their autographs. :o[ Maybe next time...

Alicia Keys, Songs in A Minor is a great album...what can I say, she's got a set of lungs on her.

Kid Rock...Ok, so I don't own any of his cd's personally, but the releases from his cd's are pretty cool. :o]

Limp Bizkit. Now, I always promised myself that I'd hate them, but they're actually pretty cool. Fred's voice can grate on your nerves sometimes, but the beat kicks butt.

Eminem, another person whom I vowed to hate for life, but, once again...I've managed to fall under the spell. Had one of his cd's till someone decided to run off with it, and his newest release kicks ass.

Mary J. Blige, I finally bought her newest one, and it's actually pretty good. She's got a great voice, and she's brilliant when it comes to beats. :o]

The Tragically Hip, another cool Canadian band. Went to see them for my 19th birthday, and they kicked some ass in concert.

Hotel California, A tribute to the Eagles. Just saw them live and in concert in june...OMG they kicked some major ASS baby!

Sarah Mclachlan, a celbreated Canadian female artist, who is also the founder of the Lilith Fair...check her out.

311, a band who's concert I recently attended. I hadn't heard of them until I seen them live, but they were pretty good. they had a really funky beat to all of their music, so I recommend them if you like funk.

The Rolling Stones, a recent Christmas addition to my ever growing music collection. It's definately brought my appreciation of them closer to my heart.

Elvis Presley, another recent addition. What can I say, I'm always looking for new expression, and if you can't find it in the present, it's bound to be in the past.

Elton John, a recent appreciation. Classic, and beautiful. If it's love, this man's got it.

Norah Jones, A recent big time hit at the Grammy's. Check out her album cause she brings a whole new spin to classics. It's beautiful, soulful, and over all just pleasing to the ears

Also, as an added note...I've recently come to love the sound of swing. Though I've only got one swing compilation cd so far, more are bound to fall into my hands. Just thought I'd leave a mentioning of it. Life brings about funny things in people, wouldn't you say?
