SEPTEMBER 1967

FROM THE NY TIMES. When only one weather per day is shown it is from Cincinnati which I found was the most like Bloomington, Indiana.
The rises and sets are from NYC so there is about an hour difference or more. NOTE: WEDNESDAY DECEMBER 9, 1998: NEW YORK CITY: sunrise 707am/sunset 428 pm EST,, moonrise 1104pm/moonset 1149pm EST,,,,, BLOOMINGTON: sun 752am/522pm,, moon 1158pm/1238pm,,,
I still have to find my xeroxes of Bloomington and IU newspapers I got while at IU in 1995. (Note: Moonrise was important back in those pre-visitation days when guys were out late at night looking for places to go with their girlfriends.
Designations such as "Partly Cloudy" meant what it was in Cincinnati at "7PM" so it could have rained before and then stopped by 7pm.
ALSO REMEMBER THAT IN 1967 NYC AND CINCINNATI WERE ON EST AND BLOOMINGTON WAS ON CST!!!
I have SWITCHED the normal temperature convention as it makes no sense to me. The normal convention is that the daily high temperature comes first and the daily low comes second. But this is jarring when one wants to follow the flow as the LOW temperature of the day is usually at about 4am or 5am, before one gets up, and the high normally appears about 12 hours after the low at about 4/5 pm. So the first temp you see for each date is probably what it was when you were sleeping at 4/5am before you got up to go to classes.

NOTE: MONDAY AUGUST 28, 2000: BLOOMINGTON: SUNRISE/SET: 612am/723pm, NEW YORK CITY: SUNRISE/SET: 619am/733pm, That is a difference of PLUS 7 minutes for sunrise and PLUS 10 minutes for sunset. But in 1967 Bloomington was always one hour EARLIER than New York City due to year-round Central Time. So that makes a conversion of SUBTRACTING One Hour and Seven minutes for sunrise and One hour and Ten minutes for sunset on about August 28.

Also note that 7pm in Cincinnati was 6pm in Bloomington so it was right after we returned to our rooms after supper. I may convert everything later but I'll put it down the original way first.
