Welcome to my ballet page!
I was in ballet in 1980 and 1981 under the direction of Candie Smalley. Though my stint was brief, I developed back problems in my teenage years, and it instilled a lasting appreciation for the art of ballet. My memories include jumping to dozens of carpet sample squares, deep red lipstick and having my hair done, and getting resin on our shoes, so they would stick on the hard-wood floors. The shoes still smell strongly of resin. I currently collect costumes, and count those items as some of the most precious that I own. Please click on the pictures for more images of the items please to see a sample of what I have. Thank you!

I love this pink costume. The tutu is a separate piece. Hopefully I can find pictures in this.

A cute polkadot outfit that I found in recent years. The puffy sleeves aren't attached, and it has long neck tie. Cute!

I found this in recent years as well. I wish that I could try it on! It has interesting gold sequins.
