Radio Program

Fridays 11:30 AM - 1:00 PM

COMMUNITY RADIO FOR THE SACRAMENTO VALLEY, THE FOOTHILLS, AND BEYOND

"Peace and Social Justice" is produced and co-hosted by
Laurel Blankinship Avalon and Beau Grosscup.

Laurel brings over 20 years of experience working hard
to secure the legal rights of senior citizens, poor people and union members.
She currently serves as the West Coast Vice-President of the National Organization of Legal Services Worker, a national local of the UAW.

She uses her extensive contacts on domestic social policy issues to bring voices of alternative news and information to the Sacramento Valley, the foothills and beyond.

Dr. Beau Grosscup is an international expert on terrorism. He is a professor of International Relations at California State University, Chico. On the Peace and Social Justice Program, Beau often uses satirical "mock" interviews with such dubious luminaries as Henry Kissinger, Madelyn Albright, and Ross Perot!

Every Friday morning, Laurel or Beau will bring you the latest information on the status of peace and social justice in our community, nation, and planet. They use commentary, satire and enlightening interviews to bring you a fresh, alternative perspective that is almost universally absent in the mainstream media.
