It seems like forever since I wrote "When Stars Begin to Fall," but this story is a follow-up to that one. If you have not read it, you might want to read "Stars" first. As usual, I am building one story from another.

Although "Stars" was a suggestion for how Danny and Steve might have met (as unorthodox as the plot was) it did not address Danny actually joining Five-0. So, this is my idea for how that might have come to be.
