11. Trim off any excess bulk on the
ends of the hatband.

12. Trace the hatband pattern on to
the paper backing of iron-on adhesive.

13. Press the adhesive to a piece
of taffeta for lining.

14. Cut out the two linings
following the lines.

15. Press the linings to the
back sides of the hatbands.

16. Bend the hatbands around
something round to shape them.

17. Cross the ends at right angles.

18. Tack the hatbands together
with a few stitches.
