Hey, I'm Rachel.
I live in Huntingdon, PA which is near State College, PA, home of the Penn State Nittany Lions. I went to my first Penn State Basketball game about 8 years ago. I remember seeing Pete Lisicky, and totally falling in love with the game. Ever since that day, I have been to most home basketball games, if I'm not attending the games I am either sitting right in front of the TV, or listening to the games on the Local Radio station, MERF.
Pete Lisicky, who is now playing pro in Switzerland, is a native of Whitehall, Pennsylvania. He comes from a large family, with many brothers and sisters, his sister Mary plays for Georgetown University. I had the oppurtunity to become fairly good friends with Pete. Even though we only ever really talked on AOL, I also met him a few times. He is the sweetest guy. He never let being "Pete Lisicky", aka "Pistol Pete" goto his head, he always treated everyone the same. Which is exactly why I looked up to him so much and I still hold the sweetness of Pete's heart in my own heart.

Just was looking on telebasket.com after I got home from softball practice and found some Statistics from the Swiss Teams. As you will see, Pete is still a Pistol, as he was at PSU.
Pete is ranked #9 in points, #1 in 3 pt. % with 48.10%, and ranked #10 in assists! Way to go!!
I got this little tid-bit of information off of a little story on telebasket.com :
Pete Lisicky is an household name in Swiss basketball: he played two season for Lugano’s arch-enemy Vacallo (from where he will meet old friends Raga and Quidome), then last season gave a good hand to Fribourg Olympic in the second part of the season, after playing also some games for Benetton Treviso (where he tried to gain an Austrian passport for Bosman status). He’s a natural born shooter who can also play the point and a sure value both for Switzerland and Saporta.
