PRINCE GEORGE and AREA CEMETERIES

Back in July of 1983 work was completed on  transcriptions of local and surrounding area cemeteries.

A summer works grant in the amount of $5,056.00 was received by the Prince George Genealogy Club (as we were then known) to hire summer students to transcribe the Prince George cemetery plus smaller cemeteries at Shelley, Penny, Quesnel Forks, Stoney Creek, Sinkut Falls, Stuart-Trembleur and Binche. Some of  the cemeteries may no longer be in use. Others, such as the Prince George Municipal Cemetery have been updated and the newer transcription is available for queries only. (written by a member of the PGGS).

The majority of the links below are to cemeteries that members of the PGGS have transcribed, although some will take you to additional Prince George related Cemetery Sites.

The Prince George Municipal Cemetery transcriptions were updated by the Society in 2004.
