What a great web site, and a wonderful resource on Alfred Stieglitz. It's certainly the
most comprehensive that I've found. Congratulations.

Thank you for providing such a wonderful resource. I've read your book on the subject -
and I'm an avid photographer myself.
I'd like to hear from others what they think of Stieglitz' work.

Most inform. site yet. I am trying to find out specif. about Clarence White & the Seguinland Hotel in Georgetown, Maine. The younger Clarence White told me a story years ago about a famous photog. from Europe named Paul something--could it poss. be Strand?--who would sleep all morning, lecture for an hour after lunch, take pictures all afternoon, develop them in the ladies tub room late at night, & leave the mess for young Clarence to clean up before the ladies arose the next day. I am giving a talk Tues. night to the Georgetn. Hist. Soc. on the history of the hotel (which my family has owned since 1976) & would love any help you can give. Thanks!! Hilda Hardcastle
