Fitness, that ever elusive goal. For some of us, we'd just like to drop a couple of extra pounds. For others, it is building more muscle mass, for a third group, maybe it is something as simple as wanting to make a positive change in your life. What if I told you that the above to things could be accomplished with the same plan. Well, they can. Last year, I went in search of a plan to lose weight. I started with all of the big weight loss companies and found that they either provided information and plans that wouldn't work over the long haul, provided information that was dangerous or unhealthy, or sometimes, provided information that was down right fraudulent. So, I began a quest. I wanted to learn what it took to lose pounds, do so safely, and do it in a manner that promoted long term weight loss. I wanted information from a reliable, third party source that used scientific methods to obtain their information. The place to get this information was easy -- universities. I obtained information from a great many universities and labratories. Once I had a veritable mountain of research I compiled it and condensed it, and reformatted it to make it legible. Since I got the information for free, I'm giving it away for free. The Get Fit Plan is the culmination of MONTHS of research into the subject of losing weight.
However, much research on how the body works is still being done. I am shortly going to be starting a physical fitness club on tripod where I'll create a newsletter to keep you updated. |
