Each carving is individually hand crafted with a chainsaw by artist, Pierre LeClerc. This gives each piece their own unique personality. All pieces are carved from dry, seasoned pine. Browse my Gallery below. I do custom carvings, please contact me for further information.

How to Care for Your Carving

Your carving is made from dry, seasoned wood, and given proper care will last for many years. Wood naturally withstands the weather and is a good medium for outdoor sculptures. Cracking or checking is of concern to most people. Some minor checking is natural and unavoidable, it actually lends character to a piece. The major cause of severe cracking is drying too fast So to avoid drying to fast, place your carving in a shaded area as opposed to out in the open or full sun, and never place inside next to a heat source, such as a wood stove, heater, etc. Oil your carving regularly (whenever it looks dry) any good wood oil will do.
