Pandas Well, what would a teddy bear collection be without pandas? Pandas are related, I think, to both bears and raccoons. But they always seem to get categorized with teddy bears in the world of stuffed toys. Here are some of my little lovelies: |
Mr. Hum THE FACE I FELL IN LOVE WITH I've always said that if a bear cracks me up, it has to become mine. While searching on ebay I found this little character with his delightful little smooshed smile. he was probably an old carnival toy, as he is stuffed with what feels like styrofoam, has a broken hang loop on his head, and is made from a low-quality plush. But oh is he cute.

Lei-Ling A beautiful jointed panda my parents gave me one Christmas. He is one of my favorites in my whole collection. I believe he is made by Gund. Steve poses on the floor with Lei Ling. |
TheoPan I call this guy, a jointed 1983 Dakin panda,TheoPan because he seems to be the exact same pattern as Dakin's jointed bear called Theodore. This is an '81 Theodore. |
Jointed craft panda A variation on the $1.99 bears you can get at any craft store. |
Panda received Xmas 2000 My friend Belinda(a.k.a. Bo)and I exchanged Christmas gifts at the Mall of Georgia, where she also bought me this lovely panda from the Bombay company. Thanks, Bo! |

On a trip to New Jersey to visit relatives, my husband, his mother and I ate at a nice little Chinese restaraunt. The wrapper to our fortune cookie had this terrific little panda design I had to bring back and scan in for a background. Only problem in, you can't read anything against it... |
